Tomorrow are working with a London-based design agency on the hunt for a Design Lead — someone who’s conceptually bold, visually sharp, and thrives on shaping big ideas from start to finish.
This is a creative leadership role — not people management, but ownership of ideas, craft and execution across brand, digital, packaging, and campaign work. You’ll guide the creative output of key projects, collaborating closely with New Business, Strategy, Creative, and Account Management teams to push ideas, challenge briefs, and elevate everything we put into the world.
Salary: £55-60k
What You’ll Do:
Strategic / Creative Thinking
- Own the design process, producing decks that tell a clear, compelling story.
- Balance brave, unconventional thinking with commercial realities.
- Challenge convention, structure ideas clearly, and back them with strong references.
- Always design with the audience in mind.
Presenting & Selling Work
- Present with clarity, confidence, and engaging storytelling.
- Build decks that guide clients smoothly through your ideas.
- Communicate concepts with conviction, preparing thoroughly for every meeting.
- Handle feedback with optimism and problem-solving flair.
Design Skill & Craft
- Deliver design concepts with consistency, detail, and polish.
- Uphold the highest standards of craft across every touchpoint.
- Keep typography, composition, and execution razor-sharp.
Organisation & Project Management
- Lead creative direction on complex or multi-track projects.
- Act as a bridge between new business, strategy, design, and delivery.
- Stay proactive and make sure your voice is shaping the outcome.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience working across print and digital.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of Sketch or Figma.
- Bonus: After Effects or Premiere skills (not essential).
- A good grasp of UX principles.
- Strong design craft, with excellent eye for detail and typography.
- Confident communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and timelines with ease.
