Overview

We’re working with a global creative agency who are looking for a highly creative Senior 3D / Spatial Designer to join their New York team.

This is a key hire driven by a need for strong 3D and spatial design capability, with a focus on high-quality creative thinking, exceptional craft and a strong point of view. The agency is looking for someone who is passionate about making, doing and bringing ideas into the physical world.

This role will sit within the creative / design team, supporting the development of experiential, spatial and brand environment projects across a range of culturally driven clients. The work could span fashion, entertainment, IP, retail environments, brand experiences and large-scale activations.

The right person will be highly conceptual, hands-on and able to shape spatial experiences from early ideation through to design development. They are open on background and would consider people from architecture, retail spatial design, experiential 3D design or other relevant 3D routes, as long as the portfolio demonstrates strong spatial thinking, high standards of execution and a clear creative sensibility.

There are currently two roles available, and they would also consider an ACD-level candidate if they are still very hands-on.

What You’ll Do

• Develop creative 3D and spatial design concepts for experiential, brand environment and activation projects.
• Shape ideas from early ideation through to design development, bringing a strong creative point of view to the work.
• Create high-quality spatial design work across fashion, entertainment, IP, retail, luxury and culturally driven projects.
• Think critically about environments, audience journeys, storytelling and how ideas come to life physically.
• Produce design work with a strong level of craft, taste and attention to detail.
• Present and talk through your thinking clearly, explaining how ideas have developed from concept to execution.
• Collaborate within a flat creative structure, working closely with creative, design, strategy and production teams.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong 3D and spatial design experience across experiential, retail, architecture, brand environments or related creative routes.
• A high-quality portfolio showing strong creative thinking, conceptual work and spatial execution.
• Experience across fashion, entertainment, IP, retail, luxury, cultural or brand experience projects.
• Strong ideation and concept development skills, with the ability to bring ideas into the physical world.
• A clear creative point of view and the ability to explain the thinking behind the work.
• Strong craft, taste, attention to detail and creative judgement.
• A genuine passion for making, building and culturally relevant creative work.
• A collaborative, engaged and thoughtful approach, with confidence presenting work in your own style.
